Recess

Newclothes1_2
I'm a little Dutch girl
Dressed in blue.
Here are the things
I like to do:
Salute to the captain,
Bow to the queen,
Turn my back
On the submarine.
I can do the tap dance,
I can do the splits,
I can do the hokie pokie
Just like this.

Newclothes2
Cinderella dressed in yellow
Went downstairs to kiss a fellow.

Newclothes3
Ice cream soda, lemonade punch
Tell me the name of your honeybunch.

Newclothes4
Spanish dancers turn around
Spanish dancers touch the ground
Spanish dancers to the kicks
Spanish dancers do the splits

Newclothes5
Mabel, Mabel set the table
Just as fast as you are able
And don't. Forget.
Theredhotpeppers

Newclothes6
I love coffee
I love tea
I love the boys
And the boys love me.

Newclothes7
Oh, that's the bell.
I dibs first in line.

I enjoyed that. I really, really liked it...Mary

Beautiful poem and beautiful dresses!!

I believe we call that Made. Done. instead of Make. Do.

Ooooh, they look great Vallen! Now, aren't you glad you started sewing again??? ;-)

You are a sewing whiz kid! Go, girl, go!

Ohhhhh!!! Everything looks so fresh and breezy!!! and your fabric carnations are the PERFECT touch!! (I also got the bug to sew clothing again .... but I'm like you ... simple style and pretty, fresh fabrics for summer ... just the ticket!)

What a great idea, to photograph those beautiful dresses on a clothesline outside - they look great, as does your yard...so green and pretty.

Wish I could sew as well as you do. Or at all, really! :)

You can be first in line but.. I DIBS that dress with the drawstring. Ohhh, yes!

Darla

this could be from a magazine.

:-)

you are the stylist here

~~Mabel, Mabel set the table~~
i remember all this,

So cute! May I 'scotch with you?

Oh, look at these summer frocks you made!!! All gussied up with pink carnations!!! I LOVE these and you have inspired me... like I need another project. I'll just go back and enjoy yours some more. Thanks!

Jenny
