Last week I teased you with a few photos of projects I had in the works but couldn't share just then. But now I can assuage your curiosity and reveal what were the haps. Firstly, there was the really genius swap that Raesha came up with; gift tags. We were to make ten tags and send them to her. This is what I came up with. A little uninspired, I confess.
Then Raesha mixed up the treasures and sent us each a packet of ten different tags. I got this stellar collection. what do you think? Wasn't that a really great idea? Especially for me. The gift-tagally challenged girl got all these really super tags to put on gifts. How that's fair I don't know but I am not going to question my luck.
I also gave you a little peak at some pink crochet I had going on. This is what that was all about - a flower choker. The thrift goddess herself, Rebecca and I had ourselves a little swap this month - a six-flower swap. Six items that were flowery. This was one of the things I sent her. I love this choker - it is so Victorian looking, very ladylike.
The other glimpse I gave last week was of some sweet little flowers. Those flowers became much of the decoration for the crown that Rebecca so desperately lusted after. I got hints from all over the universe that Rebecca had her heart set on a crown. Of course she got one. Hey Rebe, does that make you the Queen of Queens now? I think it might.
Here we have a little side action on the crown. Fun stuff. I had a great time fashioning flower things.
You can see the rest of the swap box over at Thrifty Goodness tomorrow.
It feels good to finally come clean with you. I hated keeping secrets!!! But you know, the greater good and all.
Everything on your post today just makes me feel happy and colorful! Love it all!

I too like the idea of a tag swap. In fact I know where some blank tags are, and some scrap paper, and some glue.... or, wait, I'm out of glue.
I say when you are out of glue or toilet paper it is definately Time To Go Shopping!!!

You got one of mine. I didn't get one of yours. Oh but I do have my crown. And I wear it well.
Is everything okay in the Queens land??

Love all the tags - yours, too. What fun to put on pressies. I have some bdays coming up. I might need to take a page from the tag book.
I love what you sent Miss Goodness. I can't wait to see more and in person, too!

Everything and I mean everything you have showcased on the last several posts has been fabulous! Not only are the things you create wonderful but the way you post ALWAYS makes me smile.
I adore that crocheted choker - it would be so cute on a straw summer hat too. Or on a bag. So many things!
You are one clever Queen!

I received one of your tags!! And I love it! This is the first time I ever made tags and I loved the swap for the challenging me to enter into uncharted territories.
Cool flower swap with Miss Rebecca, now we sit amongst a truly royal court!

Your crown is wonderful!
May I ask what you used as a base? I need to make a crown/tiara and I'm trying to get ideas.
