The newly crowned Queen of Queens sent me a lovely package last week. A package filled with flowery bits and bobs. Behold the splendor. And check this out. remember the choker I made for her? Well, she made the same crocheted flower arrangement for me that I made for her only she attached hers to a pin backing. That is so completely random - I mean come on. The pattern was in the back of a crochet magazine and we both had the magazine, one, and chose to make that exact pattern, two, in the same colors, three and for this swap, four. Four points of similarity. CSI would marvel at that - come on!!
I have worn my fiore pin everyday since I got it. I love it!! And the shower flower - a lovely way to work up a lather. Writing paper and handstamped matching envelopes. Yellow flowers bloom on a very hip little tray and underneath, a vintage apron. I have been waiting for just such an apron. I love the fabric first of, it is soft and worn and bright and just a lot of fun. And the reason I've been looking for just such an apron is because...
I wanted to do this. A vintage apron bag. Oh Rebecca, you have read my mind. It is perfect. I can carry this bright bit of sweetness wherever I roam. I just love it. I love everything.
Yes, I am very spoiled and ...well, yes I am! Thank you Rebecca.
That's uncanny about the crocheted pin/choker connection... sometimes minds tune in... but I sure don't know why. Darling apron tote -- irresistable in fact.

Great minds think alike I guess!! Gorgeous stuff! Love the apron tote - how did you do that? Is it just folded in half and the sides sewn up? It looks more complicated than that. Do share!!

Matching flowers, isn't that something? That's great because usually when we make something we give it all away and never have any leftover for ourselves.
Now you have flowers that are like your flowers but NOT your flowers and you are going to want to wear them everywhere I'll bet.
Funny how that works.

How wonderful and such fabulous sunshiny colours - yes it is wonderful for you to get such brilliant packages - but you put so much work and effort into the things you make too.
