I'll tell you what I'd do
I'd throw away the cars and the bars and the wars
And make sweet music for you
I did a little recording this week. Made some CD's that I'll give as Christmas gifts.
I think I missed my calling. Maybe I should have been a DJ. Old blonde ladies mixing tunes would be a hit in any club, right? You can get your freak on to Frank "Old Blue Eyes" Sinatra, surely.
All the boys and girls
Sing it now
Joy to the world
Love to have my fun
I'm a high life flyer and a rainbow rider
And a straight shootin' son of a gun
You gotta love twenty presents checked off the list.
I've been listening to Rat Pack Christmas tunes all morning, and I'm a young & hip redhead! (I made that hip part up, I'm really rather geekish.)

Then you should definitely check out 62cherry's periodic cd swaps! They are so fun!
Love the cover on your christmas mix!

Add me to the old Blond list ;)
You are too funny! That's a great gift, and thanks for giving me an idea! We give a small gift to each of our neighbors, who are all very good friends. This would work great!

The minute I saw the title of your post, the music started playing in my head! Sure takes me back. ;-)

Oh yea...Jeremiah was a bullfrog
He was a good friend of mine
I never understood a single word he said
But I helped him drink his wine
And he always had some mighty fine wine.
Sitting with candlelight, good wine and good music....oh yea.

You ROCK, literally.

And you make the best CD's. This is the most thoughtful of gifts. My first boyfriend made me a cassette tape of carefully selected love songs...still get chills when I hear the Little River Band. Love the Santas.

You are brilliant! That is such a great idea for Christmas gifts. I think that would be especially good for co workers too, who I never know how to shop for.
